Ballroom Dance Classes

Ballroom dance classes are provided for your enjoyment every Wednesday from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Dance classes are followed by live music from 8:00pm until closing - it is a great chance to practice what you just learned.
Glendale Moose Lodge dance instructor Michael Donovan offers beginning, intermediate, and advanced instruction. The dance instructor will show you the latest steps and dance techniques in West Coast Swing, Tango, Waltz, Cha-Cha, and many others. This is the opportunity to improve your terpsichorean skill, enjoy a great social experience and meet new friends.

Dance Lessons with Trish Connery

Trish Connery is a professional dance instructor, judge and choreographer in the Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Currently she teaches weekly classes and specialty workshops in Swing (East Coast and West Coast), Country, Hustle, Nightclub, Latin (Salsa and Cha Cha) and Ballroom (Foxtrot and Waltz) in Burbank, West Hollywood and South Bay/LAX. She is often on the judging/teaching staff of national conventions and is a competitor in her own right in the United Country Western Dance Council Pro/Pro Division as well as the Pro/Champions/All Star Division on the World Swing Dance Council circuit. She is a US Open Swing Dance Championships Finalist and a California Swing Dance Hall of Fame nominee. Her classes combine the perfect blend of dance instruction, entertainment and fun. Latin Nights

Latin Nights was kicked off on March 7, 2009 with Alex Da Silva of So You Think You Can Dance fame and his partner Alien Ramirez. Featured dances are Cumbia, Merengue, Rhumba, Cha-Cha, Samba, Salsa, and more!!

Mauricio and the band Latin Flavor are our other featured performers. Latin Flavor is formed with musicians with at least forty years of experience in El Salvador, Guatemala and Los Angeles. Their music is a blend of all the Latin Rythms like Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton, Mambo, Cha-cha, Corridos, Quebradita, along with a good mix of Classic Rock, Rock en Español, Disco, Pop, Spanish and English Balads, and many more.

The band performs every Friday night at Big Jim's in Sun Valley (corner of Laurel Canyon and Sheldon).

Sports

The Lodge will be open for Pool, Darts, and Cards on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 3:30 PM until closing.

Pool - Pool players meet at the Lodge. Men and women are welcome to play.

Darts - Players are welcome. We play 301 and cricket on an electronic board that keeps the score.
